HAYES HOUSE - GAMBREL ADDITION (2024)

with Senga Architects

This house addition on Hayes Avenue was an exciting opportunity to transform an old house on a corner lot into the perfect home for a young and growing family. Originally an old 4-square house with a gambrel roof, the owners wanted to add a perpendicular addition at one end to expand their space with added living, an office, expanded kitchen, and a master suite - and to do so in a way that was coordinated with the original house’s architecture.

Beginning in 2021, I worked closely with the clients and their kitchen designer to help meld their dreams with a complicated roof structure.
