I am an Architect based in Chicago and licensed in the states of Illinois & Michigan. I’m lucky to have over 14 years of experience doing the work that I love alongside many talented designers, engineers, and builders on a variety of new construction and renovation projects.

I view architecture as the perfect medium for understanding the world we live in. It forces us to explore the often contrasting requirements of utility and beauty. The line between these is the frame of our daily lives - our buildings where we eat, sleep, work, and play. 

When not designing, I spend much of my time in appreciation of the world we inhabit. I have a deep love for both the culture of the city and the beauty of the natural world. Sometimes I like to express these in my own art - building useful things, painting, pyrography, and performing music in local bars. 

I graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's in Architecture in 2011. The legacy of Mies Van Der Rohe's principles, combined with the inspiration of the architects teaching there, formed the foundations of my own ideals in design. And now I consider myself very lucky indeed to be able to work with you and many others in defining our world.
