Lake Shore Drive Condo - Full Renovation (2024 - 2025)

In 2024, Senga Architects was approached to help with combining and morphing two condo units of a 20th century Lake Shore Drive high rise together. The owner had an extensive and personal idea of the home he wanted, with a chief goal to maximize open space along the exterior view of Lake Michigan. As the project Architect, I worked closely with the client to develop numerous options over the next year, iterating on everything from the overall layout to the details and arrangement of each space as it developed. This also demanded creative solutions to resolve conflicts between the design goals and the existing building systems and Association requirements.
